Driving workforce growth & development in O&P
Our Mission
The O&P Global Project will lead the research, development and consultation needed to establish a global organisation that promotes growth of the orthotist/prosthetist workforce, by supporting national associations with expertise, advice and guidance to establish effective and setting specific workforce regulation.
About the O&P Global Project
The O&P Global Project will conduct its research activities using a structured two-phase approach. This approach will ensure that the future global organisation is founded on best-practice governance principles and that recommendations that underpin the formation of this organisation, are transparent.

"Given the imperative to improve access to safe and effective O&P care, we recommend the establishment of a global organisation with the express purpose to support regulation of the orthotist/prosthetist workforce at a national level."
— Clarke et al. 2017. WHO Global Report on effective Access to Assistive Technology.
